MICHAEL BELUSMike was born into the sport in San Jose CA, and was put to work cleaning the loft as soon as he was able to hold a scraper. At 10 years old, Mike rode his bike across town every day during summer vacation to feed, water and loft fly the birds for his dad who was at work.
Mike's father, Fred Belus, started flying pigeons in his teens and still flies today in his 70's. Fred is a top flyer in the Bay Cities Combine in Northern California.

After high school, Mike went into the Marine Corps.
Mike started flying pigeons at the club and combine level in 1995, and has earned many awards from the Bay Cities Combine. Mike's achievements include: 2008 CSRPO YB Hall of Fame, 601-900 Birds 2008 AU National Ace Young Pigeon - birds #1 and #10 2008 AU Bird Hall of Fame, Young Birds - bird #3 1998 AU YB National Hall of Fame Bird Bay Cities Combine Awards for:
Mike is very involved in the sport and was Bay Cities Combine President from 2016 to 2020. He's also been the combine Race Secretary and drove the combine trailer for many years to release points all over California and Nevada. Mike ran the San Francisco Bay Area Triple Crown OLR for 9 years and was a partner of Franco and Belus Classic OLR for 2 years. In 2022, Mike & Nora started the Longhorn Classic in Texas. NORA BELUSNora loves pigeon racing - the sport, the birds and the people. Nora & Mike met in high school and went on many training tosses together.
Born in Dayton, Ohio & comes from a long line of Buckeyes. Nora has over 20 years of business experience, having worked in management at multiple tech companies in both California and Texas. OUR CHILDREN
